ANDANTÉ PERFORMANCE COMPANY

Andanté Performance Company is a semi-professional dance company started by Aimeé Langlas and is comprised of students and instructors of Attitudes Dance by Aimeé. It is designed to prepare its members for the professional world of dance by providing educational excellence in advanced training of various styles of dance along with performance opportunities focusing on the importance of technical precision, artistic expression and originality of dance composition and choreography.  Andanté Dance Company exists to enrich the lives of its members as well as to increase the community’s awareness and appreciation for the art of dance.

Members will be required to attend all company rehearsals, learn routines and perform at various events throughout the year.  They will also be expected to attend class year-round.

Only Level V advanced students will be eligible for full company membership, although Level IV students may be selected for company apprentices.  For the opening month of classes, students who wish to be considered for company must wear a ribbon on their leotard to identify themselves.  Ribbons will be available at the front desk.  Students have one month to display their talents, abilities, and efforts to Miss Aimeé before the final selection is made.  It is essential that all members dance as one complete unit.  They each must display the technique, style, etiquette and discipline expected of a company member.  Students chosen to participate in the company MUST be enrolled in Level IV/V Jazz and Ballet plus at least 3 additional advanced classes.  Only very serious and dedicated students should apply.  Dismissal of any dancer is entirely up to the discretion of Aimeé Langlas and is therefore final.

Full Company Member Fee is $150.00 and Company Apprentice Fee is $75.00 for the year.

SUMMER DANCING

Students are strongly urged to continue their dance education during the summer to maintain proper technique and endurance.  Information about studying with other dance companies is available from Miss Aimeé.  If classes are offered at Attitudes during the summer months, no additional registration fee will be required from those students who are currently enrolled at Attitudes.
